Avebury: Breaking the Megalithic Code. Avebury is not only the largest stone circle in the British Isles, it is a huge complex comprising an astonishing assortment of nearly every kind of megalithic monument. The perfect place for the new Earthquest event, where author Graham Phillips reveals for the first time his latest, astonishing discoveries concerning how the Druids preserved the secrets of the Megalithic Age.
When? Sunday 7th June
Where? Avebury, England

The Neolithic people who constructed Avebury at the same time as Stonehenge, around 4500 years ago, left no writing to reveal their secrets. So, for millennia, its true purpose has remained a mystery. But Graham’s latest research has revealed that the Megalithic culture passed its secrets on to the Celtic people who succeeded them as climate change brought it to an end. Although the pre-Roman Celts left no records, the Romans and Greeks they encountered, and later Christian writers did. And from his painstaking study of such works, Graham has unravelled the mysteries of Avebury and the Megalithic British Isles.

Mysterious Avebury

  • A megalithic monument large enough to hold the entire population of southern Britain at the time.

  • A gigantic ditch and embankment, almost a mile in circumference, with the ditch on the wrong side to be used for defence.

  • Two avenues of hundreds of parallel stone rows, each extending over a mile in a different direction, to end at further megalithic sites.

  • The Southern Circle, with its cove of giant stones weighing up to 40 tons.

  • The Northern Circle, containing a unique square monument buried for centuries, is unlike anything found before.

  • Silbury Hill, an artificial hill over 130 feet high, with no burials or stone chambers within.

Avebury: Breaking the Megalithic Code is an exclusive one-day tour of this ancient monumental complex hosted by Graham Phillips, during which he will reveal, for the first time, the purpose of its many mysterious and enigmatic earth and stone creations.
